T minus 10 and counting....

I take my Series 7 exam on the 7th of May, in 10 days. I am so nervous. I think I will probably do just fine, but there is always a possibility of having a major brain fart that day and bombing it. It's a 6 hour exam, so I could just be exhausted and nuts by the end of the exam. I don't plan on being able to sleep much in the coming days. I am always so nervous and uptight about everything and totally lose sleep over minor things, that there is no way I am going to be able to relax until this exam is done. Then on the 14th I take my Series 63. So even after the 7, I won't be able to relax. I really, really, really hope I pass the exams.

Thanks! I actually got the highest score of all the people in my team of 22. I kicked all the boys butts! That felt great!! :)

I got all my study materials from my work, we got the study books from Pass Perfect (www.passperfect.com) and took all the practice problems, quizzes, and finals on the online program at Smart 7. (www.smart7.com) I think it was an expensive program, but not sure, I didn't have to pay for it. And my work has dedicated mentors that help with any questions, and they also give us a week and a half long review class right before the exam. They really wanna see us pass.

My wife worked for a mortgage broker as an Administrative Assistant to the President. She was going to take the test so I picked up the Series 7 manual to help her with taking the test. I actually did pretty well on the practice tests.

I work for a reseller of Accounting Software doing tech support so I had no need to take the test.

How did you do on the 63?

The 63 was more difficult for me. They gave me one review book and gave me access to the Smart 63 online. But I had a total of 5 days to study for it. It was a bit more overwhelming than the 7 because of that, and I think the exam was worded much more tricky. But I got a decent score, I just wish it wasn't such a struggle as it was.
